About Lucy Vertue, Mark Slaymaker and Little World Herbs
We have been growing herbs at little world since 1995 when Lucy first started studying Herbal Medicine at the School of Phytotherapy in East Sussex. Since then we have added a treatment room and workshop space.
We grow a lot of the herbs we use to make teas, tinctures, creams, ointments and oils. We are passionate about growing our herbs in respect with the land and environment and practice organic and permaculture principles. We like to encourage bees, butterflies, birds and other wildlife and have chickens, goats , sheep and dogs.
Lucy has been practicing as a Medical Herbalist in Kent since 2000 and a Craniosacral Therapist in 2004, she also offers Vega allergy testing and nutritional advice. She runs a regular herb group and herbal workshops in Kent and East Sussex
Mark started massaging at Little World Herb in 2015. He offers deep tissue Raynor massage which is an amazingly effective form of massage to relieve pain, stress and tension held in the body.
